a seasonal model (season visual) for
「R4G」, Baroque Japan’s new brand!

Matsumura Sayuri (Oh~) will be appointed
as the first ever seasonal model for new brand(Oh~) 「R4G (A-ru Fo- Gi-)」,
created by Baroque Japan Limited,
which is known for popular brands such as 「MOUSSY」, 「SLY」, and 「RODEO CROWNS」. (yay~ ✌︎(‘ω’✌︎ ))

「R4G」 stands for 「Respect for Geeks」,
It means respect for geeks, or “Otaku.”
(Thank you for giving me such honor!)
This new brand aims to bridge the gap between 「Anime」 and 「Fashion」 (I’m the bridge ( ✌︎’ω’)✌︎)
The first anime project is to have develop merchandise for 「Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion」.
(As expected, the #1 anime in Matsumura Sayuri’s ranking!)
In the Spring 2018 special edition of 「SHEL’TTER MOOK」, the fashion magazine you can “buy,” (you can buy it~!), developed by Baroque Japan Limited, a look will be developed from the fashion of anime 「Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion」 and sold by the new brand 「R4G (A-ru Fo- Gi-)」 and Matsumura will appear in it. (will appear in it!!!!!)

I got to dress like Lulu (short for Lelouch).
The new brand 「R4G」.
How wonderful.
A fusion of an anime that I love and fashion, which I love.
And Matsumura dressing like Code Geass, which I love.

10 years ago on that day…..
I watched Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 last episode in real time.
My eyes were overflowing with tears
from the emotions as well as the sadness that it had ended
and I cried for 2 hours.
That day, I wrote a 10-page letter
on the magnificence of Code Geass
and my thoughts on Lulu-sama for my non-anime otaku friend!!!
(When I gave the letter the next day in school,
my friend was confused, but received it.)
To think that I joined Nogizaka46,
became a CanCam exclusive model,
was appointed
to be a seasonal model visual for 「R4G」-san,
and get to dress like Lulu-sama before anyone else!
Never in my dreams did I imagine this could happen !!!!
I feel like this will go in a textbook as an example of 「You never know what will happen in life.」
By the way, the friend I mentioned above
went to see the 「Code Geass Lelouch: of the Rebellion Exhibition」
so that’s proof that the letter I wrote 10 years ago
didn’t go to waste.
But it really is amazing~!
What is so amazing you ask?
There is Orange!
With an orange-colored T-shirt!!!
This is the best.
And, and
There is also a C.C. straitjacket.
It’s an item you dream of having.
There really is significance to each item.
As a Code Geass-loving person,
everything is precious.
The creative director is
globally active and living in New York,
the Japanese multi creator,
Fantasista Utawara-san.
He was there to add writing
and drawings on the spot at the photoshoot location and was wonderful.
