One thing though.. I prefer softsub + source video. The problem with hard coded subs is that a problem cannot be fixed and quality is lost on reencoding. For example the video you uploaded is interlaced π

The raw we got from gaki-no-tsukai.com was probably already interlaced.
Well, yes, raw sources are always interlaced. 1440×1080, the source file tells the player that it is interlaced 16:9. You video is also interlaced but encoded as progressive, so the player does not know it is interlaced.
